I'm not hiding anymore. What happened on the other side of the island is past. If I hadn't have taken action, I would be dead. Or worse... I feel guilty, which I suppose means that I'm only human, and a good person. But it had to be done.

I've been hiding myself away from the other survivors, thinking that somehow I will taint them. But we all have our secrets, don't we? And I'm tired of them. I've been lied to my entire life, betrayed and talked down to because I'm a woman.

Not anymore. I'm taking charge of my own life.

I'm not listening to Sayid anymore when he says to keep what happened over there to ourselves. Something needs to be done. We need to rescue our friends. And if I'm the one who needs to lead the charge, so be it.

We will get them back. We will survive. And we will get home.
